What the service involves.
Soffits
Soffits are the underside of the roof overhang. Their surfaces can collect dust, cobwebs and grime. Soffit cleaning is included alongside fascia and gutter exterior cleaning as standard.
Gutter exteriors
Washing the visible outside of guttering is included with your fascia and soffit clean as standard. It is different from removing leaves and moss from inside the channel. A gutter can look clean outside while still containing debris.
Materials and condition
We clean both uPVC and wooden fascias and soffits, together with the gutter exteriors. Please send photos showing their condition and any difficult access. Wooden surfaces can clean up very well, depending on the wood, paintwork and previous maintenance. Where paint is cracked or flaking, or bare wood is exposed, we recommend cleaning followed by arranging repainting after drying. Cleaning alone won’t repair damaged wood or paintwork.

Is this the same as gutter clearance?
No. Exterior washing focuses on visible surfaces. Gutter clearance removes debris from inside the channel. Fascias, soffits and gutter exteriors are always cleaned together as one service. Internal gutter clearance can be added if required.
Can you clean both uPVC and wooden fascias and soffits?
Yes. We clean uPVC fascias, soffits and gutter exteriors together as one complete service. We also clean wooden fascias and soffits, taking care to suit the condition of the wood and paintwork.
Cleaning wooden fascias and soffits can achieve great results, depending on their condition and previous maintenance. Where paint is cracked or flaking, or bare wood is exposed, we recommend a thorough clean followed by arranging repainting once the wood is dry. This repainting advice applies only to wooden surfaces.
What results can I expect?
We take pride in achieving a high-quality finish, removing built-up dirt, algae and staining to leave your guttering, fascias and soffits looking fresh and well cared for. Results depend on the material and its condition, and we’ll discuss any stubborn marks with you before cleaning.
Do you need a water supply?
Yes, we’ll need access to a working tap. An outside tap is ideal, but we can sometimes use an inside tap if needed. Please let us know when requesting your quote so we can arrange this with you.
Can I book more than one service?
Yes, we can combine services in one visit. You can book gutter clearance, gutter, fascia and soffit exterior cleaning, render and K-Rend cleaning, driveway cleaning, patio cleaning and decking cleaning. Just let us know what you’d like cleaned and we’ll put together a quote.
How is gutter exterior, soffit and fascia cleaning priced?
The guide price is £4–£7 per linear metre, with a £95 minimum charge, covering the gutter exteriors, soffits and fascias along that length. We measure the length of the roofline, not its surface area. The final price depends on the property, condition and access, and is confirmed before booking. Internal gutter clearance is a separate service.
How do I get a quote?
Please send your full address and postcode, along with photos of the guttering, fascias and soffits if possible. Ideally, show the front, rear and any sides you’d like cleaned. Let us know about any access restrictions and whether the surfaces are uPVC or wood, if known. We’ll review the details and put together a quote.
